I am creative and insightful, multidisciplinary designer who leverages knowledge of human-computer interaction, design-thinking and system thinking principles, and accessibility best practices to develop beautiful and functional designs that delight the user.
Fun fact: Prior to being an award-winning product design lead and speaker, I was an Oscar-winning fashion designer who supported the development of super hero costumes for Marvel. Today, I apply my in deepth knowledge of form and function from fasion and costume into my work with organizations such as Veterans Affairs Department, Homeland Security and Health and Human Services Department.

I’m committed to designing accessible applications, and design artifacts that are inclusive. I aim for solutions that work for all users. Understanding and being empathetic of our users needs at every stage of the development process is crucial to creating a successful product.

I use qualitative and quantitative research and data to inform decisions, and in partnership with stakeholders, I determine the appropriate actions to take. I not only want to design a beautiful product but want to ensure any effort doesn’t just create a design that delights the user but streamlines and simplifies their tasks for an overall enjoyable experience.
